  “I took my 10 year old husky and they brushed her so hard and for so long that they gave her razor burn so bad it got infected. Most expensive vet bill for getting my dog a bath and a brush. The area affected was from below her shoulder blades to her tail bone from all along her spine. Worst service ever”

  “My 2 dogs stayed at the kennel for 2 weeks. When I got there to pick them up I found that they groomed my dogs also. They smelled like a pet store and the hair cuts were complete chop jobs. Yes, the girls were really nice but I was completely appalled by how my dogs looked and smelled. One of my dogs is now stained brown, I'm guessing from sitting in fecal matter the entire time. I had to take them to another groomer just to get the hair cuts fixed. They still couldn't get the staining or the smell out of my dogs. The other groomer also noticed that my small dog had lots of sore all over her. I will never be using this place again. That's just horrible...”

  “Took my 2 little yorkies here to be groomed it was our 1st using this business I have always taken them somewhere else we had a friend recommend this place to us & we loved them they took really great care of our dogs & they cut them just perfect exactly how we asked they were cleaned with shampoo & not powder, nails were done great, & thanks for the lovely bandanna it was so cute I will definitely be a returning customer..”

  “I have a hard time believing some of these negative reviews. I've been taking my miniature schnauzer here to be groomed every 8 weeks for almost a year now, and I've had very good experiences. My dog always looks fantastic when I pick her up... very clean with a good, even haircut. They even get the mats out of her fur, which can be tricky to remove. My dog is obviously excited to see me when I pick her up, but she doesn't act scared at all. The shop is set up in such a way that you can see the entire grooming area and the kennels from the register. It always looks clean back there to me. The groomers are friendly and competent and seem to really love my dog. My only complaint is small--the time it takes to groom my dog has varied a lot from visit to visit, so it's impossible to know when I'll need to go pick her up. But I do understand it really depends on what other dogs happen to be there that day and how long they take to groom. Now I just plan on keeping my whole morning free on grooming days. I would definitely recommend this business to others.”

  “We took our dog here today for the first time. We were recommended this place by a friend. First impression is great. Store is located in prestigious 15th and 15th neighborhood. The store front is a retail shop with lots of cute dog accessories and what not. BUT the back of the shop, where the dogs/cats get groomed is a whole other story.
  
  The back room is dirty, the kennels are filthy! But this is not why I will NEVER go back nor recommend this place to ANYONE! With my very own eyes I watched one of the lady workers aggressively handle a cat she was grooming, down right ABUSIVE she was slamming him/her down on the table, and when she was done with the cat she picked him/her up by the back of the neck and drug the cat off the table. I feel so bad for the poor cat and the obviously clueless owner. These woman that work here could care less about the shop, and its clear the owner is not on the job site. At least not the day I was there”

  “We just moved here and were happy to find a groomer that was close to us. Unfortunately, we dropped our dogs off in the morning and when we picked them up that afternoon/evening they looked clean but when we got home and looked closer they had not been trimmed, still had dreadlocks around their ears and I'm not sure what they did other than take them outside and hose them down!!! I will not be bring my dogs back.”

  “They spoiled my dogs at the dog show. Both are rescue dogs from puppy mills and they are scared of most people, but they are excited to go here. I pick them up and they are happy and soft and clean. I have referred The Dog Show to all of my friends who want to pamper their pets. p.s. the bad review below sounds made up ?!”

  “I took my puppy there for the first time, he had been there for 6hrs when I called to check and see how it was coming, they had not even got him on the table yet. They called 45min later to say he was done, they did not bring him out until I had payed when I got to my car I looked they had not even cut his chest I called back in they said he was not holding still. When I got home and looked closer there were chunks of hair left by his penis and they had taken a strip of hair out of his chest down to the skin. I cannot believe they are still in business. A friend had warned me about them I should have listened.”

  “This is So strange to me.
  My little Baby Toto, who is a Yorkie is one of the most playful puppies I've ever seen, and he gets so matted and sometimes smelly (just being honest).
  and the Dog show has never let me walk out the front doors unsatisfied, and without a smile on my face. These people are amazing groomers, and Nikki is the awesome artist that grooms my little Guy every six weeks.
  I have a hard time believing that Nikki could do such a thing.
  Every time I drop Toto Off, he absolutely loves the atmosphere there, and never acts scared for me to Leave.
  I really enjoy this salon, and I, Myself recommend it to anyone in the Valley looking for a groomer.”

  “I THINK THE DOG SHOW IS AMAZING!!!!! they made my dog look so great. i have no idea what this person is talking about. I personally love this place and have been going there for years not once have they cut Oscar (my dogs) penis. Nikki was also my groomer and she was more than nice to me and my dog loves her. So this person above is crazy!”

  “The Dog Show is one of THE WORST experiences EVER for my little baby boy. He was just fine when I dropped him off (for the very first time this afternoon) next thing I know, I'm getting a call saying, He's as done as he's going to get. You need to come and get him. I immediately knew SOMETHING was not right. I ran in there to get him. He was SO Freaked out, he didn't want me to put him on the ground, and he loves to walk. He was limping like something was wrong with his paw. I came home to find that Nikki the groomer had cut his penis! My dog looked terrible. He was HALF done, and not even well. I know these idiots hurt my baby and that makes me sick. Who knows what the hell else they did to him while I was so cheerfully encouraged NOT to stay and watch. He is the SWEETEST little dog. 7 pounds. Now he might very well be traumatized for the rest of his life due to the BLATANT INCOMPETENCE of The Dog Show. Furthermore, when I called to ask the groomer Nikki the dummy what EXACTLY happened, she proceeded to blame ME for not staying and not bringing him in every six weeks. He is just a puppy and did nothing to anyone. That he was so freaked out really concerned me. To know that somebody hurt my baby... then didn't even have the integrity to tell the truth about it makes me question the entire place. I had to bathe AND brush him after I got back - which was what I paid them to do. They couldn't have cared less for my little baby boy, and they certainly did NOT go over well with me with all their lies, insensitivity, impatience, and utter bull****! I am so heated, I can't even see straight. I would VERY VERY STRONGLY advise any of you looking for Groomers NOT to go anywhere near the Dog Show. They are just full of everything except the skill required to groom anyone's dog. If you truly care for your pet, their safety, and their appearance - it would be well worth it to investigate these so-called groomers THOUROUGHLY. See if they have been reported to the Better Business Bureau, and just watch what they do. I learned a valuable lesson from this. I hope this helps anyone that is looking for a groomer. I hate the Dog Show. I would not even let my dog crap on their sidewalk!!!!”
