    “This is the email I sent to Happy Tails, at this time close to 3 hours after opening, I have not received a reply or phone call. I am writing to share my disappointment in your services for my Shiloh. This has been on my mind all day! I considered calling but knew it would not be a good conversation.

    When I picked her up this morning I was told she had a couple accidents during her stay. I found this quite peculiar and out of character. She has not had an accident at home or while boarding since she was 9 weeks old. I was also told she chewed her leash and the bag I delivered her personal items in. She said Shiloh did not do well during her first walk, based on her comment, I can only guess it was cut short. I asked for nature walks every day except drop off and pick up days. That would be FIVE walks, I was charged for six. I do hope she was walked six times.

    The gal who came out to speak with me about the wetting said the pets are kept inside from 5:30 PM to 7:30 AM! I then, of course, understood why she wet in her kennel! She also told me most dogs don't go in their kennels. REALLY? FOURTEEN HOURS she was left inside! FOURTEEN HOURS! Too, I do not understand why her leash and the bag were left in her kennel??? I was given Shiloh's blanket and chew toy in a tightly knotted Panda Express bag.

    After I picked up Shiloh, we, Shiloh and I, came straight home from your business. As I lifted my back hatch to let her out of my vehicle, I was nearly knocked over by the odor coming from the Panda Express bag. Her blanket and toy had been rolled up and stuffed in the bag while still wet! No one there took the time to rinse it out? Could not tell me the items were urine soaked?

    I came to you because your business was referred to me. I am angry that I did not research your business further. I promise, I will not return and I will share this experience. I am completely disappointed. One star rating is generous. I could not leave this review without a star rating”

    “We have boarded our dog Levi at Happy Tails several times. Clean and spacious kennels. Beautiful property. Free nail trim by request which is always a plus. When checking out they even give you a toy and dog treat for the road.”

    “They should remove this review off home page on whomever said terrible service. We had great service. Both our dogs had the best cuts we have ever had and smelled awesome. Very happy with service. My brother and nephew also use Happy Tails and drive from the other side of town to use Happy Tails. Very happy with grooming.”

    “AMAZING SERVICE!!! I recently rescued a long haired kitty and took her to get bathed at Happy Tails. She had a couple large matts in her hair and when I talked to one of the groomers she told me it'd be less stressful to have them cut out and they'd do they're best. Well they definitely did!! The places where her matts were had been blended in and you could hardly notice! Her fur grew back in beautifully :D Also she smelled so good with the shampoo and cologne they used on her. The people were friendly, personable and very approachable. They gave me a tour of where my kitty would be staying and I couldn't have felt better about her safety and could clearly see they cared about the animals that came in. Highly recommend them and will be returning for all future grooming questions and services.”

    “ive been taking my dogs there for the past 6 years. i believe dawn takes very good care of my dogs. she will call and let me know if my babies have a problem with mating or any other things that come up. and i personally appreciate that. i would never take them any place else.”

    “Always such wonderful staff. Willing to accommodate to anything you need. Taken my cat and dog here and ALWAYS happy after. They always have free treats out and you get free toy on the holidays. Lots of room for dogs to run free. Can't say enough great things about happy tails!”

    “I love this place. I have boarded my 2 dogs there several times and have even used their grooming service. My dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! The staff has taken great care of them for all services. I've never had a problem with them and neither do my ex-in-laws who have been taking their dog there for years.”

    “I have been taking my shelte to happy tails for 5 years now and will never take her anywhere else. It ticks me off when i read reviews form owners that dont brush and then blame the groomer for having to shave them. Funny, I am getting ready to go drop Lucy off there today and look forward to her looking and smelling so good after her cut and bath.”

    “I take my pet there to get groomed and was upset to see all the dogs one crate on top of the other crate... looking very sad. The staff is not overly professional. They have lost things of ours when our pet was boarded there. These things were not small either. When our pet comes home from Happy Tails, she lays around the rest of the day looking very unhappy. I just wonder....”

    “Amber sounds like she is mad because she neglected her pet and had to have it shaved! Brush your dog!! You admitted you don't brush the dog and it was overdue. That means the only humane thing to do for the poor pet was to shave.

    It takes longer to shave off mats so it generally cost more. And it looks terrible to spot shave, so starting over is the way to go.

    Take care of your dog!!”

    “they never called me to pick her up. i had to call them.my dog had some matting (i think most dogs do at some point) do to winter and i don't really brush her. it had been 8 wks since taking her to her normal groomers. i couldn't get her in right away and went there. should have followed my gut feeling not to let her there. the owner was so nasty to me because i was very upset they shaved her and i mean shaved her to nothing. in the winter???? really why don't leave her coat and shave out the mats..lazy no groomers has every done that then charged me 50 dollars for her. she now will not come out she is hiding because of what they did. then i call and the owner tell me that it is considered animal crulty because of her mats. i told her being a business owner you would think she should have reported me if i was hurting my dog who i just paid 50 dollars to be shaved.Don't go there please i have talked to many people and the same thing happened to them they are lazy and don't want to spend time getting them nicely groomeed never again my poor dog.”

    “Happy Tails is wonderful! My dogs always enjoy going there to be groomed. The staff takes EXCELLENT care of the animals and love them like they are their own. We have only used their boarding services once but were very pleased. Our large dog has separation anxiety issues. They were very accommodating to his needs, took excellent care of him, and administered his medication correctly. I would recommend Happy Tails to anyone with a pet!”

    “The people at Happy Tails took wonderful care of our four large dogs. One of ours suffered a sudden onset of blindness, and suffers from arthritis and they catered to his needs while there. Two of our dogs need medication and it was administered properly. The place is clean and the staff wonderful. The dogs were groomed and ready when we picked them up. The staff made sure we knew how the blind dog and the others did while at the kennel. I love the fact that the owner lives on the premises. The dogs were clean and happy when we picked them up.”

    “WOW! I had an emergency and needed a boarding facility for my dogs, pronto! I was accustomed to using nearby facility but stopped in on a whim to check it out. What a beautiful facility!!! WOW!!!! Not to mention a very friendly staff and SO CLEAN and fresh smelling compared to places I've seen before! I'm impressed!! I would recommend this kennel to anyone and the groomers are amazingly talented too!!!”

    “i have owned dogs, cats, horses and many other critters my entire life. i have been to many facilities in town, none of them are as clean as happy tails. the staff there is very friendy and knowledgeable. they even let you take tours whenever you want and no where else i boarded let me do that. i have been a client for four years and would never take my pets anywhere else.”
