  “I have been taking my dog here for about 4 years...I think the service is great, the staff are super nice & their prices are spot on for the area (yes, I did call around and get pricing on other grooming locations). They might not take credit/debit, but they do accept checks in case you don't have the cash on you. I don't always get a chance to regularly get my pooch groomed, but they have NEVER complained to me or charged me extra for the extra work it might take to get all his tangles out. I've also asked for a last-minute nail clipping for my other short-haired dog and they've always been super accommodating! Plus, my one dog has major anxiety-issues and they have set a plan in place to help him w/ that :-) All-in-all, I would recommend this facility to anyone and my good experiences are why I keep coming back.”

  “Ugh I hate that I have to give them a star. they dont deserve even one, POMERANIAN OWNERS BEWARE!!! They will take your beautiful pomeranian and do whatever they want with him!!! During the summer I did get the teddy bear cut but its December - its winter - its cold I followed Michelle there. Well she's gone now and now every time I take my boy he shakes and cries and carries on. Have they hit/hurt my dog? He never did that before. I took my boy this past Saturday to be BATHED, BRUSHED OUT and TRIMMED around his bottom. What did I get back? I WANTED A TRIM BUT THEY SHAVED MY DOG!!! Nick the owner told me that he'd fix it - really? You gonna glue the fur back on? You gonna refund me my $44? NO to either. Well, first I'm stopping payment on my check and then I'm never setting foot back in there. I wouldnt recommend that place to my worst enemy.”

  “Thank you very much for the great service provided by everyone at Pride N Groom! I felt very comfortable leaving my dog to be groomed. It was a complete transformation. He looks fabulous! I am a very self-respecting dog owner and will be back. Oh, and yes I brought cash because not all places take credit! Highly recommend!”

  “Very true. In Ann Arbor most people do not like to over vaccinate. And only Rabies is required by law, the rest is up to you and your vet. My vet said it takes about a week for Kennel cough to show up once a dog comes in contact with it, not 3 days. A dog can pick it up on the street or at a dog park or if you petted a dog then touched your dog.
  We don't take credit/debit at my shop. You can always ask about payment instead of assuming...
  I know this shop personally or how well they groom...”

  “Isn't it up to you to make sure your dog is up to date on shots? Dogs can be vaccinated for kennel cough and still get it. It's like a people cough... easy to catch and easy to clear up.
  
  No I don't work here. I actually work at a salon in Michigan. Most grooming places I know don't require shots.”

  “Ok, first they don't require shots... I brought my Shih Tzu there because Petco had a long wait for an appointment... 3 days later he was at Old Marple Animal Hospital emergency with kennel cough. There is a reason you can get an appointment on short notice here, any self respecting pet owner wouldn't be caught dead here. Also, they don't take debit. Thankfully I had cash on me, because I got taken back to 1968 for a second and would have to leave my dog there longer while I went to an ATM.”
