  “I have a hyper dog who is scared of her own shadow. These great people handle her wonderfully. She come out of there happy and beautiful. After many bad experiences I finally found the prefect place to bring my dog. I might even consider boarding her there and I have NEVER done that anywhere. Great job guys keep it up.”

  “Great customer service. You could tell they love pets. I always leave my dogs with Luz or her son Gio when I have to go on a long trip. my dog gets shower and hair dried when he arrives and when I pick him up. The also give my two dogs awesome haircuts!”

  “luzys dapper dog has done a complkete 180 degree turn the groomers are wonderful and extremely sweet they try their best to make their work the best and it shows the new owner luzy is a nice lady and does a great job as well as her son unlike the previous owners and words cant explain how happy i was after i picked up my dog she looked wonderful is a great grooming salon...they also have boarding which was great becausei was able to leave my dogs with someone i thrusted and not be over charged like most places....should deff try ...”

  “This place is wonderful. Thankfully they are under new management, because frankly it used to be a nightmare going there. Now Luz and her son have taken over and they truely work beautifuly and know how to take good care of my two dogs.”

  “The above review is an attempt of an unhappy customer to ruin a reputation. The wheaton terrier that was being done by Perri, one of the groomers was unruly and wild.This customer used poor judgement in even bringing the untrained dog into the shop. We are all highly trained and in the many years in business we have had no accidents. Unfortunatlely, accidents in all professions happen. It was awful. This client was paid in Full for all medical expenses. I even paid boarding for their vacation. This guy JARED HETTENNA of HEWLETT NY, wanted more. He saw a situation and tried to milk it. Typical of his kind. As far as my mother paying, I gave her the money because why would I give a shyster like him any account numbers...beware of this person...GROOMERS BEWARE.”

  “BEWARE.....Matthew Kurtz and his staff are NOT properly trained to be grooming dogs. My dog suffered a SEVERE broken leg while being groomed at the Dapper Dog in Lynbrook NY. That day was one of the worst days of my life! Not only was my dogs’ leg broken from the table falling on it, but the break was so bad that the bone was sticking out! The groomer, whose name shall not be mentioned, had no idea how to handle the situation and called 911. Thankfully I was in the area and was able provide immediate medical attention to my dog. Matthew Kurtz, the owner, was no where to be found and it took days to reach him. He gave my family the run around for weeks. Finally, after he bounced a check his poor mother had to pay for my dogs medical bills. Thankfully my dog survived this horrific accident and I pray she will continue to thrive.”
