  “I'm definitely a fan and so are my dogs. Frantic, made a last minute Saturday call to get my Old English Sheepdog groomed after he matted his entire rear with poop. Not only did they squeeze him in, they made room for our other dog too. My dog came out well-groomed, clipped down just the way we had arranged, and prancingly proud of himself again. Both dogs were very happy, eagerly playing around the office, and not in any hurry to leave. The groomer got all the matts out, no injuries, hot spot clipped cleanly. Friendly owner, great job. Highly recommend..”

  “I took my best friend Rascal to Dogspaw after reading an article in a local magazine rating the best pet business in DC area. Dogspaw definitely lives up to its high rating, the staff is friendly and they try to accommodate special requests such early pickup and not kenneling. Rascal got his best haircut there and we have tried quite a few other grooming salons in Northern Virginia. Dogspaw is definatley a keeper.

  “Thank you so much for the Grrrreat care given to Sasquatch and Sugar. I called outof the blue on a Saturday frantic over a huge matt of fur and feces on my Old English sheepdog. Notonly did Dogspaw manage to squeeze him in but they got him clean, shaved down, even got the bad matts out of his very touchy ears. chuck was friendly, non-plussed by the mess or last minute appointment. Dog's were clearly very happy when I arrived to pick them up. Beautiful care. Will definitely go back and recommend them highly.”

  “I am extremely disappointed. The owner chuck, and female assistant seem so nice, and I thought my dogs were in good care. I am fair person, and when arrived to get them to my surprise they were completely shaved. Including one of my dogs (sterling) whose fur was not matted, the other yes I could understand since he doesn't like to be brushed. I am certain whomever groomed them just put them straight to the clippers. Did not check to if they could brush out the tangles. I asked for short not shaved which included their tail, which I know for a fact did not need to be shaved off! In all my years my dogs being groomed this has never happened. Nor have have they incurred any irritations or injuries. Even our one time trip to PETCO was better then this. My one dog Sterling had a cut on his arm which they explained. I was kind enough to forgive. They seem so nice, and cared. I even forgave for the injury, bad hair cuts and paid. UNTIL I GOT HOME AND THE FOLLOWING DAY NOTICED BOTH DOGS HAD RAZOR BURNS AND IRRITATIONS ON THEIR HEADS AND UNDERBELLIES. I HAD TO CALL MY VET, AND LUCKILY HE SAID NEOSPORIN WOULD BE FIND FOR THE BURNS. MY ONE DOG STERLING DIDN'T EAT OR GO TO THE BATHROOM FOR 2 DAYS, AND BOTH OF THEM WERE SHAKING DUE TO NERVOUSNESS. I DON'T CARE YOU SCREWED UP ON THE CUT, I DO CARE THAT YOU HURT MY ANIMALS, AND WHEN WE CALLED FOR A REFUND OR AT LEAST PARTIAL YOU TOLD ME TO BRING BACK, AND WE CAN GET A FREE GROOMING. NO WAY! HOW CAN TRUST A COMPANY THAT OWN UP TO PERHAPS THEIR STAFF INEPTNESS. YOU DIDN'T OFFER ANY KIND OF REFUNDS FOR YOUR DAMAGE. THANK GOODNESS IT WAS NOT SERIOUS EXCEPT THAT CUT ON STERLING, DOGSPAW TOLD ME ABOUT BECAUSE HE WAS BEING A BAD BOY. EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T BELIEVE THAT I LET IT GO BECAUSE I DON'T TRY TO ASSUME PPL HAD THEIR BEST INTENTIONS. MY DOG STERLING HAS BEEN GROOMED ALL HIS LIFE, AND NEVER MOVES. WE NEVER HAD ANY INCIDENTS WITH OUR REGULAR GROOMERS. MAYBE YOU HAVE TO REEXAMINE SOME OF YOUR GROOMERS. I AM WRITING THIS BECAUSE I WOULD NEVER WANT ANYONE TO EXPERIENCE WHAT I DID. I WAS IN TEARS DURING CHRISTMAS, AND MY DOGS WERE TRAUMATIZED. I AM VERY HURT FOR THE LACK CONCERN FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. YOU HAVE LOST MY TRUST, AND I WILL NEVER REFER THIS OTHER DOG OWNERS. I WILL STICK MY BONNIES IN DC! THANK YOU.”
