“moving out of the area in the next two weeks. I hope I find a kennel as good as Rick's in Florida. I would drive 65 miles each way to board my dogs with Rick. He has always taken great care of my dogs and I will miss his services.”

“we dropped our beagle off here on Friday and picked him up Sunday afternoon because we were out of town. We didn't have any issues when we picked him up. The place is clean and our dog looked like he was well taken care of.”

“Rick Burgos did not do anything wrong! Dog's die. That is part of life. Was the dog beaten to death? Was he malnutrition? The answer is NO. Unfortunate things happen. Rick represented the United States of America at the world Schutzhund Championship. If he was such a bad person he would not have been selected. Unfortunate things happen in this world and that was one of them. Good luck in the future Rick.”

“I worked there in 2006, it was a perfectly fine place and no one knows how he feels when an animal gets hurt while in his care, you have never been there, you dont know him. so people really need to stop running their mouths!”

“Read up on fredericksburg.com about the animal abuse case that he was found guilty of before taking your pets here. Burgos was more concerned about himself then the owners of the dog who died under his care. Please note that the dog wasn't sick or old prior to being placed in these kennels. If you love your pet I would not take them here.”

Why is this place still operating?

“This guy has been banned from some competitions for the way he treats dogs. He was also found guilty for the death of another person's dog. He also beat a dog so badly it bled in 3 rooms. This is only half of it. I wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone. If you love your pet you'll think again before taking them here.”

“We have taken our dog to Burgos for at least 5 yrs and have NEVER had a problem. They always ck that every dog has it's shots. We have to spell B-U-R-G-O-S so our dog doesn't get too EXCITED to go there! He LOVES Burgos!”
