  “Its so easy to complain and rant out of anger rather than give a compliment. Sure there are a few complaints from a few unpleasable people but in contrast there are 60 plus customers a day that love the groom and the groomers. So next time they get the fleas and dried poop off your sweet baby lets hear about that instead.”

  “I have been in the pet industry for 6 years. I have been a customer of Resas for two years with three dogs. I have seen this same review over and over. I hate seeing someone who first of all is not telling the truth, (I was there for part of it) and is just trying to trash this business as much as possible. If you don't like the shop, Go Away!! Resa will do anything for dogs and her customers. She and her staff love dogs. Best of Lubbock guys right here at Resas!!! Don't believe all the crap...”

  “This is obviously a long review. I wrote it out to include many issues i had. If you read no further, read this: Take your dog somewhere else. I get the strong sense that there is no pride taken in the job being done or the way they deal with customers or their dogs. If you want to know more read on and/or email me for more info and pictures of the bad haircut!
  I took my Aussie mix to Resas K-9 salon for groom and deshedding shampoo. I was very happy to get an appt. on short notice as we were going on vacation. I felt i was very clear when i dropped him off that I wanted his legs, potty area, neck, and ears cut short and just a trim on the body/tail. When I picked him up he did not look trimmed at all. I mentioned it to the person who brought him out and they called someone with scissors to trim his backside. As this was occurring I noticed a cocker being shaved in a VERY aggressive manor. The dog was not being difficult and was actually cowering in a very submissive manor. Unfortunately I had to leave in a hurry as a long road trip loomed. I called as soon as i got back to town and over a few days I talked to the manager and the owner. While they were very willing to regroom your dog personally they were very quick to disregard the rough treatment of the other dog, blaming it on a difficult to groom animal and sometimes you have to be more firm for the good of the dog. I was assured that everyone here loves dogs and would never harm them. Once I was reassured the owner was going to be the one to do the re-cut I agreed to let her fix the problems and was told she would use a #1 blade so my dog would have short hair, but would not look shaved. I made an appt. for 730 am and was told I could stay and watch the groom. I arrived just after 730 and the owner verified my requests, but asked if I could leave him because her help did not arrive for 20 minutes. I reluctantly left my dog and was called at 8:35 to pick him up. When I saw my dog, I expected to see a neatly groomed dog after being personally taken care of by the owner. What I saw was the worst looking cut I have ever seen on my dog, or any dog for that matter. There are obvious blade marks all over him, hair ranging from a bald spot on his chest to spots almost 2 inches on his back, and his tail and ears havent even been touched. If that is the standard set by the owner, then what does that say for the other groomers? And to top everything else, after recommending a #1 blade, the owner informed me she had actually used a #5 blade, because it looks better. Finally, on a non-grooming note, when I arrived I found my dog more eager to leave that place than I have ever seen him ready to leave anywhere. Like another poster here my dog has never had a problem, but this time he could not get to the door fast enough. Needless to say, I will never take any pet here. Please heed the warnings here and find somewhere else to take those you love.”
