“Very upset with the way I was treated. Poor customer service. My dog was throwing up so they told me they could not do the grooming. They had no available appointments all week to take her back, also was told it would take two people to groom my dog and they would charge me $85.00. My dog has been groomed all her life without a problem. I was also charged $37.50 for a bath without grooming. These people are busy and don't care about new business, terrible place don't go there”

“I have boarded my two dogs a B &B two times (1 for 3days and 1 for 14 days)I recommended B & B to my friends. I did not like Polly's Pampered Pets. Boarded my dogs there twice and both times they came home with fleas and ticks.”

“Very friendly staff,did a WONDERFUL job on my dog! I asked for a unique haircut and they did it exactly how I wanted it! Even added some color to it to make my daughter happy! We will definately be using them again!”

“I've had dogs all my life. My family has four dogs that vary in breed, size and age. All of our pets are spayed or neutered. We have a large fenced in back yard that they are confined to. A good friend of mine recently lost his best friend and companion of 7 years a few weeks ago. His little buddies name was Chico. Chico went everywhere with him. Well my friend is all by himself and a dog fills a big part of his life. He didn't want to rush into anything so he waited until he thought he was ready for a new buddy. He wanted to adopt a dog that way he felt he would be helping the dog as much as the dog would help him. He didnt want a pit-bull or a large dog, just a smaller one that could jump up in the cab of the truck and ride where Chico used to. We looked online and found what we thought was the perfect dog for him on the Last Chance Rescue in Inglesides website. The pups name is Dash and is in foster care at Bath & Biscuits in Portland. We thought no problem on our way back from Corpus wed swing in, pay the adoption fee and pick up his new little buddy. How wrong we were. Ill tell you. The people at Bath & Biscuits are ridiculous. It would have been easier to adopt a rhinoceros. After filling out more paperwork than if you were applying for a position at the pentagon. We met every condition they through at us and there were several. They threatened to do a drive-by which I am sure they never did because if they had they were more than welcome to stop and examine our dogs to see that they are fixed. I honestly think they were making up conditions as they went along. I feel they were just fishing for some reason to deny us. They want verification of all the dogs in the household being spayed or neutered. This is asinine!!! My father, mother nor myself could get verification of our dogs being fixed if we were the ones trying to adopt a dog from Bath & Biscuits in Portland. I dont really see the point of this verification as long as the dog your adopting is fixed. When you get a dog out of the pound you dont need verification of the other animals. To get him out one of the conditions is that you have to get the said convict dog spayed or neutered. Enough said, we shall continue our search for my friend another companion at other local shelters. My last words are that Bath & Biscuits in Portland denied an orphan dog a great home. Thank You!!! P.S. I wouldn't of gave them a star but had to to add my review.”

“Don not use this groomer. My dog has never been ill a day in his life, he is now fighting a double ear infections and when I have him groomed, his nails are to be trimmed, twice they were not and I told the staff about this and when I went to pick him up, they were very, very rude and snatched the receipt off the counter. My dog is not the only dog that I know of that is also fighting an ear infection after seeing this groomer. I would give them a zero star, but in order to post, I have to rate.”

“I recently went to try this new grooming place. I had been a prior customer when it was under Polly's Pampered Pets. I was very impressed! I was greeted very friendly, the owner even took a couple of minutes of her busy time to small talk with me. The facility was very clean! I have never seen this shop so spotless, considering all the hair flying around! I will always continue to bring my dogs and I will surely recommend this place to all my Corpus friends and animal lovers!”

“My dogs have always received excellent care while at Polly's Pampered Pets! My two Poodles go there quite often and I have never had any problem! Very good pricing (actually she should charge more) and excellent grooming!!! My babies (poodles) even get excited when I say we are going to Polly's today.”

“If you love your pet, do NOT take them to Polly's Pampered Pets. I took my Bichon Frise here and DEVELOPED A STAFF INFECTION right afterwards. If I would've waited a few days to take him to the vet, the vet said he would've died.. yes, it was THAT bad. Pets aren't in good hands here. I've seen with my own eyes dogs strangling from counters on their leashes and non-washed grooming untensils constantly being used.
Again, DON'T TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!”
