  “Misti-Sue's was recommended to me by several people a few years ago. I started going there in 2005 and always had a pleasant experience and my dogs seemed to be happy...Until yesterday. I took my 2 dogs to get groomed yesterday morning and when I returned to pick them up, they looked great but were terrified and running for the door. We came home, took a nap, and when I woke up I noticed one of my dogs sitting by my side just staring at me. Her eyes were literally bulging out of their sockets, her skin was red, blotchy, and swollen, and she was panting frantically. I rushed her to the emergency animal hospital (the only place open at 6pm on a Saturday evening) and after about an hour of examination, the doctor informs me that my dog had been physically abused and severely choked or strangled and that was the cause for her eyes popping out of her head. They had to inject her with an anti-inflammatory and pain medication to reduce the swelling and her discomfort. 4 hours and $400 later, I was able to take her home with medications and instructions to see my regular vet within 3 days. I am heartbroken and never thought I'd have to worry about something like this. My other dog has a few minor scratches and marks on him, but nothing compared to the other..Thank God.”
