  “Let me start off by saying that it takes a lot to make me angry, I tend to be a very understanding person. But, after our experience at Tulip City Barking Lot I am absolutely livid!
  
  We scheduled our first appointment at tulip city for this morning, for our 4 year old border collie mix. I scheduled a FULL grooming. When I dropped him off at 930, I wasn't thrilled to see that he was immediately put in a crate but I do realize not all locations have the room to let the dogs be out and about so I did not let this bother me too much. The woman at the desk said that he'd be done around 3, so I planned to have my husband pick our dog up then. When my husband arrive he paid, grabbed our dog and walked him to the car. Upon getting in the car, he realized that our dog was still covered in shedding hair and had clearly not been brushed. As well, he smelled the exact same so he clearly had not been bathed. His nails however had been trimmed. A majority of them still had bits of nail hanging from them, and none of them had been filed down so that they would be smooth. When we arrived home I surveyed the lack of grooming with my husband and also noticed that there was a cotton ball left in my dogs ear!
  
  Based on the reviews I had read before, I had hoped to find a great place to bring my dog that was close to our home here in Holland. I am incredibly disappointed with the job that was done by Tulip City Barking Lot. There is absolutely no way that I will bring my dog back here and would not suggest anyone else do it either.”

  “I must disagree with a couple of the other reviewers. I have returned to this groomer because she has always treated me and my dog very well. I am disabled and Mary does everything possible to make the visit easy for me by coming out to pick up my dog from my van so I don't have to transfer in and out. The other gal, Linda, has also been a great person to deal with; not a problem. As far as pricing goes, they are right up there with the others I've checked on, and even have done a few things for me for free; who does that anymore?”
