  defense of groomers

  “If it was your yorkies first groom, chances are great that he didn't cooperate. Groomers work with very sharp tools and when you have a wiggling dog it is safer to not fight the animal and send him home unfinished. Dogs have to be trained to accept grooming as with anything. You will do your pup a favor by teaching him to stand on a table and accept brushing, clippers, etc. It will take several times at a groomer to get a good cut. If the dog was not injured and treated with kindness, please give groomers a chance. It will take some time to get a dog to behave for a groom. I don't know the complete details but it is not always a groomers fault.”

  Bad haircut by salon

  “I brought my Yorkie into your salon for his first grooming and his last. The next day he looked so bad, I had to take him to another groomer to get it right. You didn't even trim around his eyes or butt, which the other groomer said was the most important. He looked bad enough, they thought it was a home haircut, not one by a supposed to be professional groomer. My rating minus 2 stars. As for recommedation, I don't want people blaming me.”
