“We have been going to poochies for almost 4.5 years. We have tried 2other groomers 1big chain and a local none can compare to poochies. Our dog-child is happy to go and has always come back looking great. They have always been able to fit us in even on short notice. Will not go anyplace else”

“If they had 4 stars I would give it to them! Very Friendly & Professional service. I have been taking my pets there for 8 years. So many of my friends take their pets to Poochies, and it's not surprising. They treat my new puppy with kid gloves and took their time with her. My other older dog is never nervous or skittish and actually wags her tail when we pull up! I recommend them highly and they even make suggestions which I love! Thank you, Poochies! Did I mention wonderful customer service.”

“I took my Maine Coon cat to Poochies in May 2012. It was my first experience getting my furry friend, Fuzz, groomed, so I was a little nervous. I don't remember the name of the woman who groomed him but she did an absolutely awesome job and told me that he was welcome back whenever I wanted because he was so good! I am taking him back tomorrow (4/2013) and hope we have the same experience! Fuzz also seemed to have had a wonderful experience and seemed to enjoy showing off his new cut to all our visitors. I have told a good friend about this place and she plans on taking her Cockapoo there when she gets back in town.”

“I had been going to another grooming salon for years and recently they cut my dog while grooming her. I took her to Poochies and couldn't believe the difference in the haircut. It's hard to believe that I had been paying nearly the same price for such a lowsy grooming on my dog and now seeing the difference, I will definately recommend Poochies to everyone. Oh, and they told me they give a referal discount for referring people to them!!!”

“I called and spoke to the owner, Rachelle, who was so nice and professional. There are many groomers in the area, but no one was quite as professional over the phone as she was. I was nervous as I had just adopted a 10 year old maltese from a puppymill type situation. They were so kind and careful with Macie when I dropped her off. I picked her up and they said she did great. I was so relieved and will be a loyal client here. Not only was the owner pleasant and professional, but the entire staff was great. They were all very friendly and interested in Macie's story. The shop was clean and smelled good.”

“I had just moved to the area and was so nervous to try a new groomer. The owner eased my nerves and was so good with my poodle right away. I happened to peak in the window before picking Fancy up and saw the girls talking to the dogs and they all seemed so happy to be on the tables. Everyone was warm and friendly and they were very knowledgable. I will be back for sure.”

“We had another groomer close and not let me know. Poochies took my dog without an appointment and a house full of clients. They were very sweet to my dog and constantly talking to all the dogs around them too. They were very helpful and eased my dog to the new surroundings and noises. This chance appointment may make me a faithful client.”

“I have used Poochies for almost 15 years. And1, I pass alot of Groomers on my commute there as I love about 20 miles from them. They are so eager to please and do such thorough and professional work. The only down side is that they are always filled so make appointment in advance - they are that good and have a loyal following including myself !”

“Poochies is the best dog grooming operation around ... hands down. The groomers are all highly trained and experienced and very gentle with the dogs. My dogs eagerly go into the crates waiting to be groomed and always come back very, very happy.”

“My dog is over 10 years old she can be skittish and is very active. She had never been in a kennel or at a groomer until Poochies. I peeked in at her admiring herself in the mirror. She came home happy and I have never felt her fur so soft!”

“I have been taking my dog to Poochies for years and years and many of my friends and neighbors take their dogs to Poochies as well. The service is great, my dogs are happy. One of my dogs is always very nervous and used to be so aggressive that we had been banned from every other grooming shop. Poochies started grooming him and reported that he was really not that bad, just very scared. Within a few visits, he is now settled in very well. Other shops would make me feel horrible that my dog was so bad and I have never felt nothing but welcomed since I started going to Poochies.”

“Terrible service. I won't go into details but I went to get my dogs nails trimmed and I had to help restrain my dog, she cut my dog's nails to the quick and then charged me full price...with a bad attitude to boot. Don't do it.”

“I love Poochies. I am amazed at these negative reviews. Maybe these terrible things happened a long time ago. I know there is a new owner - a wonderful young lady named Rachelle. She is wonderful with my large Shepherd. I could never imagine any of the groomers at Poochies hurting an animal! I recommend Poochies to everyone!”

“I regret taking my dog to poochies, she came home with her ears full of flea powder, bleeding from all 4 paws, and they didn't do her anal glands like I requested and paid for. THey sounded great on the phone, but after I picked my dog up and seeing the condition she was in I will never go back. Bottom line, stay away!”

“Horrbile! They abused my dog. When I brought my dog home he was very skittish and scrared, like he'd been traumatized. A trip to the vet revealed he had a broken rib, which the vet said most likely came from the groomer hitting him with a brush. If you love your pet, don't take it to poochies”
