  “I was somewhat apprehensive after reading a few of the comments that were posted. However,I must say that I was so impressed at the care my Scottish Terrier received. He looks fantastic(not the easiest dog to groom) and I was kept informed of his progress several times during his appointment which was greatly appreciated! Duke is a very (as my vet would say) bossy and tempermental breed and I had given up hope of finding a groomer that would be able to groom him without all the drama that he brings to the table. I cannot say enough how pleased I am with Heidi and her staff! I now look forward to having Duke join her doggie play group so that he may learn some socialization skills! I cannot thank her enough! Duke looks Wonderful!”

However, I must say that as a pet owner of a Scottish Terrier I was absolutely impressed as to how well Heidi and her assistant groomed him. I had given up hope with grooming as his temperment is very bossy and he does not like to be fussed over.Stephanie, one of the staff, called me several times during Duke's first visit and kept me informed of his care.(which was greatly appreciated)He looks fantastic and I am so happy! I can tell he feels so much better. He was in and out in a matter of a few hours. I was very pleased with Heidi and her staff. I was so happy with his care, I an now going to sign him up for play group so that he may learn socialization skills with other small dogs.Thumbs up to Maine Animal Keeper!”

  “Please think twice before giving your loved one to this facility. There was a misunderstanding with the pick-up time for my dog. The owner literally screamed at me over the phone and in person until I was in tears. I was never rude, and only apologized for the inconvenience I caused. I do not think she deserves any future business.”

  “Heidi knows animals, I would highly recommend them to anybody, she helped me with a routine to give my cat her shots and it has worked. Ny cat volunteers to come to me and get her shots. The Cat Loft is extremely clean and nice.”
