  “I agree Victoria, it shouldn't even be one star! Cedrick, a min pincher, was lost today when he got loose from Brookside vet techs walking him near Brookside Veterinary Hospital. His owner was required to remove his collar and tags before she left him there even though she expressed concern about this because he is a runner. I can make no sense of that at all for any reason. Because of this policy the dog is now running loose with no identification on the University Ave in below freezing temps!. This tragedy is due to an incompetent and irresponsible staff who have been entrusted to keep our beloved pets safe and alive while under their care. I would at least expected them to take immediate action by placing adds in craigslist and notifying police and animal control and by sending an emergency mass email to every vet in the area in case he was brought in so they would know who's he was. last time I checked it hadn't been done yet. I feel this hospital and staff need to be refreshed in a safty training course before attending anymore animals left in their care. Something like this happening is unacceptable.”

  “It should not even be one star. DO NOT take your pet to Brookside if you have an emergency. They are not a hospital and are ill-equipped to service you with anything other than routine visits. Even then, think twice before entrusting the well-being of your pet to a group of people who are not friendly (the staff) and worse, incompetent. The business has gone far downhill in the last 15 years and there are plenty of other vets in the area who will take better care of your pet and you than these people.”

  “Dr. John is such a caring, helpful, friend to my golden. We always get wonderful care and attention, And all the vets are great when we need to see someone and can't get in to Dr. John in an emergency.”
