  “I would't trust my wheaten, Moxie, to anyone else. Teri is a kind, warm hearted groomer who also happens to be more of a dog-lover than an entrepreneur.
  The bashers on this site are disgruntled ex-employees who thought they could earn a paycheck without working.
  I've known Teri for over fifteen years and I can testify that she goes above and beyond what a normal shop owner of any business is usually willing to do to keep a client happy.
  In regard to new faces being in her shop or a revolving door of employees, cudos to her for finding the right mix of employees to handle the pets of her clients. If you have been in her shop the passed few years then you would realize that the same people have been employed there for a while now.
  It's obvious that the person who wrote the negative comments about her has some issues and of course there would be a high turnover when people aren't qualified to handle pets, as they can't handle themselves.”

  “I have been going to Shampoochie for about 8 years now and bringing both of my dogs. Teri and her employees are very caring and love all the dogs. She advises if there are any problems and always suggests a remedy. Teri came highly recommended from another customer who had used Shampoochie for several years before I began. I give them five stars!!!”

  “I couldn't be more in love with Shampoochie. Teri the owner is the sweetest, she loves and cares for all the dogs, big or small. She puts them first! I was incredibly shocked to see such bad reviews but i could only imagine them being from a cruel ex employee. I could totally understand if there were certain situations that had to result in yelling, but to truly understand animals you'd have to be a bit more understanding of the actions that needed to take place. Out of all the grooming facilities i have been too, shampoochie has been by far THE best around. My babies are in wonderful hands. God Bless.”

  “Teri has been doing our Bichon Frise for ten years. I wouldn't go any place else! I like the fact the dogs all play together, we call grooming day, Baby's play date. Teri loves her animals! She is always kind and caring.

  “Teri Oliver, owner of Shampoochie in Aurora, IL is not your average groomer! She takes precise care of your dog, let's you know when she suspects a problem and is always helpful in answering any questions you may have. When I took my dog into the vet for an ear problem, he said this is one of the finest jobs I have ever seen a groomer do on a dogs inner ears. Job well done Teri, I trust you with my best friend completely!Disgruntled employees offering bad reviews is not to be believed. I have been coming to Shampoochie for 12 years and NEVER saw anything but loving care.”

  “Teri is great and always does a fabulous job on our corgi and sheltie. I was shocked to see a bad review as I have known Shampoochie for years and have never once seen anything negative. Really question if a customer wrote that review or a disgruntled employee. The dogs are always happy when I pick them up and seem to enjoy the atmosphere. I think Teri does a good job of hiring caring individuals too. Seems like everyone there has a genuine concern for every pet that comes through the door. I would definitely recommend”

  “As a former employee of this shop, i would recommend NOT bringing your pet here. I have witnessed the owner, on several occasions, grab a dog by the back of the neck and hang them off the grooming table if they are not sitting still. While holding them off the ground like that, she screams in the dogs face KNOCK IT OFF,,, NOW!!! You can literally see the fear in the poor animals eyes. She has an extremely bad temper and curses and insults her employees, which is why her regular clients are constantly seeing new faces in the shop. The dogs are not kept in cages, which I think is a good idea, however she owns a pit-bull that she brings to the shop quite frequently even though he has bitten several dogs,,, one of which required about 40 stitches to close the wound... Anyone who truly cares for their pet should avoid bringing them here. The dogs are not allowed to use the bathroom outside, but rather forced to go on the floor inside the shop... I gave this shop a 1 star rating only because the website required something... It actually deserves none.”

  “I have a samoyed and a cavalier king charles spaniel and they and I both love this place! It is so nice to come in and see them playing with other dogs and not locked up in a kennel. The owner Teri is a genuine animal lover and always puts the animal first. Her staff is very kind and her prices are fair. I would recommend Shampoochie to anyone!”

  “This is a terrific place. My dog (100 lb Goldendoodle) has been going to Shampoochi for over two years now and when I tell him He is going to the Groomers he gets so excited. He loves it there and the owner Terri is the best. My puppy went to several different places before I found Shampoochi and had many different problems. Not only is there no problems but he loves the special attention he gets. When he get tired she takes him off the table and lets him play. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and if she moved 25 miles away I would follow her...oh and the price is perfect, she is very fair.”
