  “My best friend works as a bather at this shop, and her grandmother is one of the groomers there. I work with her on occasion when they need the help.
  
  First off, if you've never had your dog taken to a groomer before, you might see some problems with the shampoo in the eyes, but ONLY if your dog has sensitive eyes in the first place. The shampoo we use is tearless shampoo, so it should not hurt their eyes, and we DO do our best to go *around* their eyes, and not get it IN them. If you know your dog to have sensitive eyes, there are eyedrops we can put in their eyes beforehand to ensure that they don't get irritated by the shampoo.
  
  Secondly, I know everyone who works there, and we all love the animals we work with. We do everything we can to be sure the animals are comfortable. If a dog has some sort of bad reaction like that, it isn't our fault. It would be best to take them to a vet, even, if they have that bad of a reaction. We've had that happen before, gotten blamed for something we couldn't have foreseen or wasn't told about pertaining to the condition of the dog.
  
  Thirdly, I have never known any of the groomers to cut off whiskers, MUCH LESS eyelashes. Trim, maybe. But never cut off.
  
  Lastly, the cut really depends on who ends up grooming your dog. There are 3 different groomers that work there, and they all have to share the work. I have my own opinion on who is best, of course, but they all excel at different types of dogs, it seems. So if you didn't like the cut, ask for a different groomer next time.
  
  Okay, now I've said my piece. If you don't know your dog well enough to know what he or she needs, and don't understand that the groomer cannot be blamed for everything, then that is your problem, not ours.
  
  At any rate, I think the people that come every single week with 2 huge dogs like the service there very much, otherwise they wouldn't have been regular customers for the last 5 years.”

  “This Groomer got shampoo in my dogs eyes. He could not open them for almost 24 hours! They did no apologize or appear to have any concern for my dog. The cut he got was awful They completely cut off his wiskers and eyelashes. The cut was choppy and very unprofessional looking. I will come never again!”
