  “We recently changed vets to Midwest Animal Hospital. After our initial visit we had a slight emergency with our 10 month old German Shepherd when we contacted Midwest Animal Hospital Carrie answered our call and promtly and courteously resonded. Even though it was near to closing Dr. Coyne said he would stay over to see our pet. The service provided was exceptional and beyond the line of duty. We are very happy we changed vets, as this type of response would not be provided by many others.”

  Also, to above poster...what previous vet experience do you have? Are you trained at all in recognizing clinical signs?

  AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

  “If I could give no stars I would. I used to work for this clinic! In my opinion... I would never bring my pets there!!! EVER!!! This clinic is owned and run by Dr. John A. Coyne as well as Forest South Animal Hospital in University Park, IL. and Yorkville Animal Hospital in Yorkville, IL.... and it's an absolute disgrace. FUTHERMORE... it should be shut down! The doctors don't do an exam on the pets before they give vaccines most of the time... they just take the animals in the back and pop them with the vaccines and send the animals on their way. Midwest Animal Hospital also does not autoclave/sterlize their dental instruments after each use... How would you like it if your dentist used instruments on you that he just brushed off after using it on another person??? More than 5 animals died on the surgical table in my brief 2 weeks of employment there because of malpractice! I can go on and on... one of the DOCTORS even missed a heart murmur on a dog and almost killed it!!! I quit after seeing such horrible practices as this animal hospital uses! AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU WANT YOUR PET TO STAY SAFE, HEALTHY, AND ALIVE!”
