  “I took my 11 month old Shih Tzu mix & my mom's older pomeranian here. I was nervous about my pup because he has never been groomed by a stranger or professional & I was going to leave him there for several hours. He's not vicious or anything, but he can be obnoxious. The pomeranian is very quiet & skittish. Both of them had been rather neglected in the grooming department by us (a lot of running outside in the last few weeks since the weather was so good) so there was a lot to do. My pup got the face, foot & sanitary trim because I like his long hair, save for his face, feet & rear end. The Pom got a lion cut. Her neck & midsection had a lot of matting. When I saw them both come out, I was over.the.moon. They looked great, and they were very happy & in good spirits! The owner who greeted me was very efficient, and handled the pups one at a time with a great deal of care. The price was GREAT. Much less than I thought I'd be spending. Will DEFINITELY go here again. Absolutely no complaints. Saw what appeared to be other happy customers too coming in & out.”

  “I have taken my dog there since they opened and i have always had great service.The prices are reasonable and i have never seen any of the ladies mistreat their dogs that are in their care. They can't just leave all the dogs on a table on a leash just to come chat with someone i think if you need to chat with them make an appt and see if you don't find the place a great .”

  “First of all I am sorry that you feel we are rude or unfriendly. We are often very busy and need as much time to tend to the pets as possible so that thier care is not rushed and safety is not sacrificed. We try to get pets in and out as quickly as possible so they do not have to stay all day and in order to do so we may not be able to chit-chat quite as much as we would like.I do not know what you are refering to about a dog being choked but this DOES NOT happen in my store. Some dogs are not always cooperative and have to be held in a way that they can not get hurt (bite the scissors or clippers or moving around while grooming thier face) or hurt someone else. We are very careful in the way that we handle the dogs and are trained in holding dogs for a successful safe grooming. As for my kids, yes they do come to work with me. I own my own business and chose to bring them with me. They are safe and never been harmed by anything in the salon. I would rather have them with me than in a daycare and it is my choice and I am sorry you feel that way. I love dogs and I love what I do! I care for each dog as if they were my own and safety is always the first concern. I am truly sorry you have had a bad experience with us and wish you the best of luck finding a groomer that meets your needs!”

  “I stopped by to check out this groomer and the lady I dealt with was so rude and seemed so uninterested in new business that I won't even give them a chance. I reward good customer service with my business. They don't deserve one cent of my money.”

  “She is a good mom doing what she can, and she seems to have the dogs best interest at hand. Give her a try. Most of all, she does not try to sell you every shot and followup care under the book. As long as you are current with rabies vaccination, give her a try.”

  I have been going to Canine Chic for the past two years. They do a fantastic job on my Wheaten. I have tried many other groomers in the area and you can find fault with all of them. I have never seen them leave a dog unattended. As far as having the kids there, they are with their mother being attended too and not in daycare!
  Also, I don't think their rude, some people deal with the public in different ways. They do a great job, that's what I pay for.”

  “I have been here many times over the past couple of years. While I agree that she (and her mother) are very rude and downright unfriendly, I think that she really likes dogs and cannot imagine that she would harm one. As for the kids, she's the mother and seems to be a very good one, so she can certainly decide what is in the best interest of her children. I personally like dogs better than people as well so kind of understand that. But if it were my business, I would put a smile on my face and pretend that I liked them!”

  “Owner is very rude, talks to you like your an idiot. Leaves dogs unattended on table. I witnessed her hold a yorkie by its neck like she was choking it. She also brings her young children (both under the age of 2) to work. A groom shop is not a safe enviroment for kids.”
