  “I've been a groomer since 1991, and know nothing of this shop, however.....
  
  I did look at the photo you provided, and was wondering where you came up with the conclusion that a dirty scissor was anywhere near your dog?
  
  The dog didn't receive a hair cut, and I can't imagine why shears would be used in your dog's rear area.
  
  I'm not a vet, but your story doesn't add up.

  “i worked for the clip joint for close to 5 years and am no longer employeed by them and I can tell you after reading the comment that woman wrote and looking at the picture she gave as evidence i would like to say that if her dog had been knicked by dirty scissors.....THERE WOULD BE A PUNCTURE WOUND!!!!!all the groomersareboard certified and are qualified to charge the prices they do (which are pretty reasonable) for the quality work they offer! as far as keeping your shampoo......considering they use TOP OF THE LINE PRODUCTS, I highly doubt your petco shampoo was of neccesity to them. The people that bring their beloved pets to the clip joint have been doing so for years......what should that tell you.from what i ve experienced from the ladies at the clip joint Id have to say that her attitude might be the one that needs adjusting.”

  “This 'Sad Customer' is obviously a flake. The most obvious sign that (s)he is lying is that they wouldn't give change back. Now, I ask you, what kind of business does not return change? We're obviously not talking rounding to the nickel here - the original poster is obviously a deranged idiot with an axe to grind.
  The crew at TCJ has always been most helpful with my dogs, and their prices are reasonable as well.”

  “A couple of months ago I took my dog here to get groomed. They barely groomed him, overcharged me, and at first refused to give me change! They also kept about $40 worth of pet shampoo formulas <i>I had brought with me</i> as well. They were also very rude and left my dog quite traumatized, which is ironic considering how this is truly the nicest and most friendly dog I've ever encountered in my life. I'm the kind of person who doesn't pitch a fit when I receive the wrong order in a restaurant on a busy day. I honestly do let things go, so apart from the bad business experience with this place, I simply told myself (and the dog), never again upon closing the door behind me.
  
  But it gets a lot worse. Not a week after this whole ordeal my dog began displaying symptoms of what turned out to be malassezia dermatitis, most likely caused by being nicked with dirty scissors. He had a very high fever and was rushed to the vet just in time to receive emergency steroid shots. After hundreds of dollars in veterinary treatment and medications my dog just now seems to be (hopefully) getting back to normal.

  Please look into who you are taking your pets to, and tell as many people as you can to <b>avoid this place at all costs</b>, at least until they are willing to stop their ethically questionable practices.”

  “Missy does a great job on my Tibetan Terrier, Gus. This breed can be a bit tricky and I have been very happy after his day at the Spa. She is also very flexible with my schedule.”
