  “had been taking my dog to Dave at Lone Mountain Pet Grooming for over a year. I had one experience when he was shaved too close and had razor burn all over his belly. I called Dave & he did the right thing and apologized & comp'd me his next grooming. Just yesterday I took him in to get pretty before Thanksgiving and he looked beautiful. I dropped my dog off at home & went back to work. When I got home there was blood all over my tile & carpet...and his bed was covered in blood. After careful inspection of my dog, I found the problem. His nails were cut so short they were bleeding. I called Dave this morning to discuss this & to ask why he didn't tell me about anything when I picked up my dog. He got upset and told me he would just cancel my next appointment and to find another groomer. Well, with that being said, I now know I was not a valued customer and that he really didn't care about my dog.”

Dave is by far the best, and is very patient with my shy boy. I read Sher's review below; this is absolutely NOT the Dave I know. I hope I never have to find another groomer!”

  “dave and his staff have been very kind to me and my daugter. i went in telling him where we used to go for our dog and what a bad placed it was he has always cut him the way i ask for and has been right on every time with out little ewok. love the staff and we highly reconmend lone mountain pet grommers.”

I have been taking my cock-a-poo to Lone Mountain Pet Grooming for years and have had experienced nothing but exceptional and professional care. When I read the Avoid Like the Plague review, I laughed so hard because nothing could be further from the truth! When I had to leave town unexpectedly on a family emergency, David went above and beyond the call of duty to offer hospitality for our pet which gave us great peace of mind knowing our pet was in good hands. He and his staff have been honest, caring, professional and attentive to our wants and needs. I recommend David to everyone, rest assured! When I hand my dog over to David I know she is in good hands until the time David calls me and tells me she is ready. This works wonderfully for us and she always looks, feels and smells adorable!”

  “I have been to so many groomers, had them come to my house and none of them make my maltese boys have made them look as good as David does. He is reasonably priced compared to others and I can usually get in withing a couple weeks. I am so happy to find a great place for my boys, I am picky and I love them at Lone Mountain! I refer them to everyone I know with a dog!”

  “I should have forseen there was going to be trouble with I arrived and my dog didn't want to go with the employee; my dog sat on the floor and the worker started pulling her across the floor by her leash from her neck! I was quoted a ready time of 3 hrs; when no call after 3 hrs, 45 min. I went in & asked if my dog was ready. I was told no & owner Dave started telling me what had been done so far. I asked how much longer and was quoted appx another hour if no interruptions. (would have been total of 5 hrs. for dog's coat to be shaved!) Dave said I could take her home now at no charge, & when I asked again what exactly had been done so far, he lost control and started screaming at me I JUST TOLD YOU!! When I asked why he was yelling at me, he kept yelling & shouting I ALREADY TOLD YOU; DON'T YOU LISTEN?!?! I asked for my dog at that time & when he brought her out, he said Nice dog, for having such a BITC.. for an owner! He continued yelling obscenities at me,dropping the F-bomb repeatedly. This guy Dave is a loose cannon with major anger control issues. God only knows how the animals are treated. I strongly recommend you go anywhere but here for your pet's needs.”

  “I have been bringing my 3 field spaniels to David and his excellent staff for years. My boys are always cut great and arent there all day! They take the time w/my 14 year old boy who needs a gentle hand! Highly recommended after trying several groomers.”

  “Been bringing my Italian Greyhound in since they first opened and they always do a wonderful job. Been to other places in the Valley and they weren't as efficient-even tried a mobile pet groomer which our dog HATED! Our dog always does very well with Lone Mountain and I feel good knowing she is in safe hands when I drop her off.”

  “Owner refused to trim my two dogs a little shorter after picking them up, was a real jerk about correcting mistake. Bad attitude, never again. Ladies are nice, guy is owner that has too much ego and business. I left 20.00 tip too.”
