  “I am absolutely mortified with the service I have recently recieved from this salon. From the start everyone seemed pleasant and excited to help. I told the woman going in there that I wanted my Golden Retriever trimmed shorter for the summer and to make him look good. She then assured me that she would not be shaving him and he was in good hands.
  
  When I came back to pick him up I could not believe my eyes. They completely shaved all of his beautiful coat off, and reassured me that it was hair and it would grow back (At this point I had already paid). Quite honestly he looks terrible, and no longer looks like my beautiful Golden Retriever. Trying to keep an open mind I left and brought him home. What I found out when I went home was how badly this affected my dog, my husband, and myself. We all felt completely terrible about how he looked. He was hiding and cowering without his coat. I had also done some research about what this shave really could do to his well being. Finding out that he was now put at risk for greater heath problems like skin cancer was the most devastating. Shaving a Golden does not 'cool them down' in the summer, it only makes it hotter and more uncomfortable for them. They have are a long haired double-coat breed for a reason. Nobody should ever shave a Golden under any circumstance unless absolutely necessary.
  
  When I had talked to the manager about these things, she actually agreed with me that she would never shave her Golden. The only thing she did was offer me half off my next visit (Like I would ever go back to them). I trusted these people as 'professionals to take care of my dog. Never in a million years did I think they could do this much harm. My dog is apart of my family, and it makes me sick to think what harm they have potentially caused him. I am at such a disbelief as a business they did so little to try and rectify this situation.
  
  In short I would not trust these people with your pets, especially if you love them like family. They have no problem putting your dogs in harms way without blinking an eye. Even if they misunderstood and thought this is what I wanted they should have explained to me how bad it would be for my dog. Instead they did what they wanted to, and left me to deal with the consequences. This is the worst experience I have ever had anywhere, and if at least one person reads this and learns from my mistake of trusting them, I am a happier person. I just wish someone had warned me.”

  “I took my Pomeranian in to be slightly trimmed, like I always have. It was written on their card how she was cut everytime and who cut her. Well this time a new girl was cutting my dog and they didn't even bother to tell me. I got my dog at the end of the day only to have her completely shaved!! My dog looked like a cat w a bushy tail! They knew the new girl messed up and tried to blame it on my dog and said she wouldn't behave. In the meantime, the new girl couldn't control the cocker spaniel she had in the back so I pointed it out to them. And referred them to te card which stated how well my dog did everytime I brought her. Only this time this new girl had no clue what she was doing and ruined my dogs coat! If you have a double coated dog you never shave them! You only shave them if you want to continue that style because it ruins the coat immediately. Some research shows that groomers accidentally shave double coats just to make sure the customer have to come back. Well needless to say, I never went back. They didn't offer to give me a discount or anything. And had the nerve to ask me for a tip!! I would never recommend this company to anyone. Horrible customer service.”

  “I took my Australian Shepard to be groomed the other day and he was long overdue. The facility was clean and we received a warm welcome knowing their could be some trepidation by a first time patron and a new dog. Instead, they all but rolled out the red carpet and gave my dog an excellent groom and cut. I will be a returning customer, very happy and highly recommend them to everyone.”
