Dirty Paws Pet Spa
Clean, fluffy, and happy!
“My golden doodle has been going to Dirty Paws since she was a puppy, and I’ve always been pleased with the outcome! Cheri is cheerful, loves the dogs she works on, and it shows in the way they are treated when they are there. I take a bedraggled, muddy dog into the shop and a few hours later bring home a lovely, white, fluffy, happy doodle! The interaction with other dogs is a big plus from my dog’s perspective. Dirty Paws also took care of my aged Maine coon cat when she wasn’t able to clean herself properly. Cheri first gave me bathing instructions and special shampoo so that I could try to do the job myself, but I couldn’t handle the giant trashing critter, and took her to the shop, where they did a super job of getting her clean, mat-free, and happy. I bought the equipment to deal with any further mats, and she had a few more baths there before she finally crossed the good old rainbow bridge… Yes, it’s hard for them to predict when your pet will be done, but I just deal with it. I know they aren’t going to keep the dog overnight, and I plan for a bit of unpredictability! I heartily recommend Dirty Paws for your pets!” -

The Grooming Gallery
BEWARE!!! Dangerous!!!!
“Please, for the safety of your beloved pet, do NOT bring it to the Grooming Gallery! My family friend brought their beloved senior poodle to her on 11/7/14. When he came to pick him up, Gail the owner and groomer told him that he needed to come in and get him out of the cage himself because he had a seizure and had been traumatized. The dog has NO history of siezures in his entire life. She said that she could not even complete his haircut (although they were asked to pay for the entire service). When asked if he should be seen by the vet she told us NO, all the vet will do is charge you a lot of money! \n \nWhen they got him home they noticed that his neck was very swollen, and he was acting very nervous and strange. When they tried to get near him he would yelp in pain. He certainly did NOT have this injury prior to talking him the the Grooming Gallery or they would have waited to have him groomed. They did call the vet and were to bring him in immediately. He received treatment for his swollen and bruised neck and given some pain medicine. The visit cost over $200. \n \nAfter returning home they called back to the Grooming Gallery asking for more details as to what had happened to their dog during his visit. Gail, the owner, insisted that he was an old dog and things happen. She volunteered that he had been traumatized but would not elaborate. She DID NOT: apologize, offer to pay for all or even a portion of the vet bill, or even call to follow up over the weekend to see how our dog was doing. She DID however: act angry, annoyed, rude and inconvenienced that we would even ask what happened to our pet at her shop. \n \nWhen I went to her shop the following week to speak with her face to face, she flew into an actual rage within just a few minutes of my being there. As a working professional and former groomer I have never seen anything like it. \n \nPLEASE there are other shops, with caring people that would never mistreat your beloved pet. They will now be taking their poodle to Doggie Styles, just up the street.PLEASE DO NOT take your pet to the GROOMING GALLERY.” -
