I have been in the grooming business for 40 years. My mother opened the business 55 years ago after someone ask her who grooms her dogs. She told them that she did and that's how it all started. One person told another and another, and that is why it is called the Grapevine grooming shop. At the time she opened for business there was no Petco or PetSmart or any other groomers in the area. We were it! I groom small and medium-sized dogs up to 50 lb but no cats. I never have more than two dogs in my shop at a time. I find that it keeps them calmer and less stressed that way.
