GET TO KNOW KAREN “I have always loved dogs. In school, I always thought I would be a Veterinarian. When I found how long it would take, I decided I wanted to be a wife and stay-at-home mom. We always had dogs and I started raising toy poodles. I quickly had to learn how to groom dogs. I also worked at the Ottawa Veterinary Clinic for 12 years. In 1985, I started grooming from my home, and in 1988, I started my Kennel. We did grooming, Boarding, and Dog Obedience Training. I have been doing this for 36 years. I love what I do and I love dogs more than anything! God has blessed me with the best job ever!“ - Karen Hovest
