Fargo Boarding and Grooming Service has been taking care of your pets in the Fargo-Moorhead area for over 25 years now. Our well trained staff will check in your dog or cat, take feeding and medication instructions from you so that your pet is cared for on your schedule, just like home.

Our kennels have heated floors in the cold months, air conditioning in the warm months. We have covered runs for the climbers, too.

Cats are housed in our cat condos, with dividers that can be opened for multiple cat families so your pets can room together like at home.

Individual walks are available for dogs on our four acres of tree-lined property. Dogs are not simply clumped together for their bathroom duties.

Each dog has 88 square feet of space in the standard kennels. Our VIP area is quieter with music playing and more personalized attention daily.

  “I tell my dog that he's going to the dog spa. He's been there several times, and I've been impressed with the information from staff when I've picked him up. They noticed his walking idiosyncracies, that I had gotten used to. They've been very prompt with callbacks, when I've left a message for a reservation, also. My dog will be having a spa weekend again next month.”

  “I can only speak from personal experience but we would NEVER take out pets (hairy family members) anywhere but here! We tried a few before we went to Fargo Boarding and the service and care is second to none. It's kind of odd but our dogs get very excited when we ask if they want to go to Puppy Camp!. They are ALWAYS excited to see Sally and the gang!”

  “I had my dog boarded here and then groomed before I took her home. I felt very safe leaving my dog in their care and when I picked her up she was absolutely GORGEOUS and smelled wonderfull! The groomer, Sara, told me she had no problems with her, which is something that I was not used to hearing from other groomers. I was very, very satisfied with all of Fargo Boarding and Grooming Services, services.”

  “I heard of this place from some friends that board their dogs there. I have a hard time leaving my dog somewhere over night but felt confident with this facility being my friends spoke well of it. My dog was walked right away upon checking in allowing for a quick potty break. They asked me what her feeding schedule was and if she needed any medications during her stay. I was very impressed with out on top of it they were. They asked for details about the dog that I would have forgotten to include. I really feel they take the time to get to know the dog so it can have the best stay possible while I am out of town. I definitely will be returning to this facility again and entrusting my dog with them.”

  “I am currently a worker at this kennel and if you want first hand knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes than read this and take my word for it. There is only 3 employees working here me being one of them. 1 of the employees tried quitting and the owner Sally convinced her to stay so she wouldnt have to put an ad in the paper, so now we have an employee who doesnt want to work here so she doesnt do her job correctly. The other employee doesnt walk the VIP dogs that NEEED to be walked 2 times a day. Instead she puts them in the isle of the back run so they can go poop and pee and get really close to other people's dogs. I have brought this up to the owner many times and she wont take care of the problem. That same employee doesnt change the waters for any dogs and make them drink odo ban cuz she doesnt clean out the buckets they drink in again I brought this up to the owner. Well now to add to all this while I was working the ownerv(Sally) called me and informed me that the kennel may be closed the next day due to weather and wants me to leave that recorded on our answering machine. Well we have check ins the next day so I went out of my way and just informed these customers that we may be closed and they can, if they want to, bring their dogs and cats in that night and I would stay til they got here. These customers all thanked me and took my advice and brought their pets in. Well later that night the other owner (David) called me and was yelling at me cuz I didnt have the authority to do that and I should have called them first. Cuz now if they cant leave town we will be taking care of these dogs and not get paid. Right there is another sign that all they care about is making money and not customer service. I tired to explain to him that if I was a customer I would be irate to have come out there just to find out they were closed after I had made a reservation way in advance. But he wouldnt listen and just yelled when I am talking you listen. I am in the process of finding a new job so until than I am stuck working for a really bad company who only cares about the money and the not the customers.”

  “We picked our two dogs up from the boarding after a two day stay. When we picked them up they smelled horribly of odo ban. They were completely saturated with the smell. One of my dogs was low of energy and seemed like he was very sick, also a warm nose, possibly because of the smell that was on his skin. We then started unpacking their items and one of my dogs coats that i had brought with (very cold weekend)was saturated again with odo ban, but not enough to cover up the horrible urine smell. My dogs are kennel trained so I'm very confused if they left the dogs in there for an extremely long amount of time or if some other dogs peed all over my dogs. I know it's hard to take care of many dogs at once, but then possibly they may need to have people come in more often. I'm completely disappointed and never want to do that to my dogs again!”

  “We had a very positive experience with Fargo Boarding and Grooming Service. Our dog stayed there for eight nights over the holiday season. When we picked her up, she was clean and her crate was as well.
  
  The owners not only ask about pets being up-to-date on shots, they check it out for themselves. I appreciate this as we used a place last year that did not. Our dog came back filthy and had Kennel Cough. No doubt our little hairball is exhausted from the experience, but so are we from all our nights away from home!”
