Mindy began her career as a groomer in 2011 while living in Texas. Upon returning to New York 2013 she worked at as an assistant at Valley Vet in Unadilla before becoming the Salon manager at Petco in Oneonta. Mindy continued to advance her career while at Petco including mentoring several new groomers. In 2016, she opened her own grooming business. Since her business opening Mindy has earned certificates in Brushing and Bathing, Pet First Aid & CPR, Infectious Disease Management, and AKC S.A.F.E Handling, while also being recognized as an AKC S.A.F.E Groomer and having an AKC S.A.F.E. Salon. She has also become a member of The American Kennel Club, and the American Professional Pet Groomers Association.
