“I had taken my two cats to several groomers to have their nails clipped and my long hair to have a sanitary shave. By far, Christine is the best. She is fast and capable and gets the job done well. Christine is very professional and capable and I would not go anywhere else. She has been doing my cats nails for years.”

“We are VERY happy with this groomer! Our Goldendoodle, a very happy dog, had to be dragged from the car at our last groomer. We have been to All Breed several times and each visit the dog comes home happy and looking great. And the groomer calls my husband's cell phone 15 minutes before she is ready so he can pick her up and that works so well for us. A very nice person, clearly caring, we hope to use All Breed for years. A great groomer is hard to find!”

“My mom took her 2 dogs to All breed when it belong to the previous owner and then to Christine when she took over the business, and this was years ago. Christine has always treated and groomed her dogs professionally. My mom was very picky on who she sent her dogs to when they were alive. They went to All Breed for years. Now that I have my own dog, I take booda to Christine and no one else for grooming. Booda is not such an easy dog to handle, but Christine manages beautifully. Thanks Christine.”

Tired Of Irresponsible pet Owners

“Johnanne,
Would you have preferred that the groomer who took care of your dog that day de-matt your poor dog and basically rip the hair from the skin? .... I think not. The only humane way to treat matted dogs is a complete body shave down. The fact that the dogs coat could have been uneven is caused by the different depths of matting, some being closer and tighter to the skin than others. If you had any common sense, you would have known this.Perhaps the reason why your dog was acting strangely to you for 2 weeks may not have been from being traumatized, but simply from not understanding from going to a matted coat to bare skin. Matted coats can weigh down, insulate and if it was matted for a long time the dog may not know any other way how to feel. You failed to provide your dog what his matted coat provided him, WARMTH !!! For all you know You could have given your poor dog a sweater and it could have been fine. Also, if your dog had matted hair weigh down on the ears after shaving possible hematomas can occur. How? ... you may ask... Your dog was used to shaking his head with this weight on his ears... There fore to properly shake your pets ears he would have to shake hard in order to get his or her ears to flop. After the matts and the weight is taken off, your pet shakes his ears with the same force.... Now with too much strength the pet could easily bust a blood vessel in the ear causing a hematoma.Im sick and tired of all these whinny dog owners who expect their dogs to look magazine perfect but only groom their dogs every three to six MONTHS and do nothing in between grooming, But have the nerve... to complain and blame some random groomer for their own lack of pet owner responsibility. And I am very happy to know that Christine went to court and properly handled the situation.” -

“I am the owner of All Breed Cat and Dog Grooming. Animals are constantly coming in extremely matted and unfortunately have to be shaved. This review written by Joanne is unfair and misguided. This unfortunate situation was taken care of in court and by the way I WON !!! People are always blaming the groomer when their pet is not brushed and combed out properly. Shaving a dog can be a very traumatic experience. They can get itchy and act much different then normal.”

“Why is it when a very matted dog has to get groomed, which is due entirely to owner neglect, the first person you choose to blame is the groomer, who didn't cause your pet to be in that state in the first place? Maybe your regular girl choose not to groom your pet because they had an idea of the condition it would be in!! And whatever happened to personal responsibility to keep your pet brushed out, my dog has long hair too, and yes he rolls around, but I own a brush and comb and use it!! If you cant brush out your own dog, it is your responsibility to maintain professional grooming schedule, groomers don't have to chase you down to remind you of this, its part of pet ownership! Be responsible and accountable for the care of your own pet, don't blame others! I use this groomer and am very happy every time! My dog has always been clean, looks great and I am very satisfied!”

“I brought my small dog to this groomer in March because her normal groomer who I was happy with had no more openings. I should have just waited for the next appointment. Though I distinctly requested they keep as much hair as possible, my dog returned to me with a close to the skin haircut. What is more, her nails were still long just jagged from what appeared to be a rush job to look like they cut her nails (which was further evidenced by the fact that the owner told me that she was really busy and needed a until late afternoon yet I was told she was ready less than 2 hours after I dropped her off). When I picked her up, my dog had fresh blood on her ears which took over 4 weeks to heal and looked like a wring worm. She had cuts all over her body and her haircut was uneven. My dog was altogether a different dog. She wouldnt interact, eat or drink for almost 2 weeks. She was groomed on a Saturday and the groomer wasnt available until the following Tuesday, so I had absolutely no one to speak with about my dogs appearance and behavior. I regret not scrutinizing her more at the time I picked her up. She spent the entire two weeks under beds and tables when she was the complete opposite before going to All Breed. She was shaking her head uncontrollably, she was in agony and I was sincerely concerned. I speculated EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. I just didnt know. When I finally got to speak with Christine, the owner, she was immediately on the defense criticizing the fact that my dog had a lot of hair, which I happen to like. She offered me an oatmeal bath for the dog. Of course I wasnt going to allow my dog to return to that place particularly after not receiving a satisfactory response explaining my dogs appearance and behavior. I ended up taking her to the emergency room. At the time I spoke with Christine I hadnt yet had the results of her blood work so I didnt know what was causing all of this. Her claim was that when dogs go from having a lot of hair to having a close shave (which I dont believe was necessary) like mine, this behavior can result. The veterinarian from the ASPCA could not substantiate this. In fact, they went so far as to tell me not to use the groomer again. My dogs lab results came back completely healthy so her behavior and not eating was completely attributable to her experience at All Breed which she didn't deny and considers normal and if anything, my fault for bringing her matted. Not surprising, All Breed has refused to admit wrong doing and cover any of my expenses which wouldnt have been necessary if my dog returned to me her normal self. Consumer Beware! My dog was matted because of the length of her hair (I dont feel to the severity she claims), her hair type and her practice of rolling around. She had me sign a very generally worded post card sized no fault waiver because my dog was matted. That is no excuse for the way my dog returned and her postcard said nothing about these symptoms. Be prepared that if you sign this, you may be giving her a perceived license to claim no fault if your dog returns hurt and traumatized as mine did. No doubt, in my case, it is this leg she feels she can stand on to refuse covering the vet bill. She agreed to pay half of it at first and later changed her mind following conversations with a vet and a lawyer. From my experience with her, she seems to either hire or be herself a novice groomer, not the experienced groomer she claims. This commentary neither negates any good experiences people have had with this groomer nor should it strengthen other negative comments. This is an account of what I experienced which was the most horrific 2 weeks since Ive owned my dog. Based on my experience, I would absolutely never recommend this groomer.”
