  “I have lived in the Livonia community for almost 20 years and have been taking all of my dogs (3 border collies) to DOGS BOW WOW... Needless to say, the groomers there are incredible to say the least. Our dogs are well taken care of and they come back simply the BEST GROOMED DOGS.... Never had a bad experience.. They are very accomodating with attention to detail.

  “This place is awful. I had my dog groomed here, and his haircut was very nice. However, they decided to clean my dog's ears for no reason, without asking me or my boyfriend first, and charged us for it. A day later, he was shaking his head violently and rubbing his ears against the ground--he had gotten an ear infection down near his ear drum, and the walls of his ear canal were inflamed and irritated. I called up for an explanation as to why they cleaned my dog's ears without asking me, when they weren't even dirty, and the owner lied to my face and said they found debris in his ears so they cleaned them. When I told her I check my dog's ears regularly for debris or infection (and I DO), she got very flustered and simply said, Well, we aren't responsible for the infection. I was furious and hung up on her. My boyfriend's mother's dogs have had similar problems when brought to this groomer. Their haircuts are pretty, but their treatment of my dog and the fact that they caused his ear infection was disgusting. Do NOT trust your dog to this groomer ever. They are not trustworthy in the slightest.”
