  “We boarded our healthy, happy 3-year-old beagle there for one week this July. When we picked him up, the owner told us he had been mopey that day for some reason, but had otherwise been fine. When we got him home, it was immediately obvious this was much more profound than mopey. It has been two days now, and our poor beagle is a zombie, very unresponsive, but also wandering incessantly and won't lay down to rest. His breathing is funny and he's drooling. We took him to the vet, who recommended a neurological consult, which we're still waiting on the results for. The owner of the resort claims complete ignorance of what could have happened to our dog while in his care. It may in fact not be any fault of theirs, but it makes what followed even more irritating.
  
  While at the vet, the tech noted our dog's nails were badly need of a trim. When I mentioned that the kennel was supposed to have trimmed them, the tech said she couldn't tell to look at them (I couldn't either). I called the resort and suggested it had been overlooked, to which the owner replied that he'd done it himself. I suggested maybe he'd had the wrong dog, which he refused to even consider the possibility. At minimum, in the interest of customer satisfaction, you would think he would say something like, I'm sorry you're not satisfied with our services, but I didn't even get lip service, much less a coupon or a refund.
  
  So I now I have paid $129 for boarding and grooming, and instead received a half-dead dog with a imperceptibly shorter nails. I am appalled at this facility's lack of concern for our dog or for their customer's satisfaction. Use this facility at your own risk!”

  “I have two Maltese that have been groomed at WW for about 2 years. During their last visit, my dog, Q-Tip, came home with a red and swollen eye. I took the dog to the vet and the vet said Q-Tip had a chemical burn. I found he received it from a harsh flea dip that splashed in his eye while he was being groomed. I politely went to the manager of WW to ask that the vet bills associated with the injury be paid for by WW. He refused citing a statement in the contract that WW was not responsible for injury to pets in their care. I have $150 in vet bills associated with this mishap. Please be aware that if something happens to your pet while in the care of WW, the company will not pay for costs associated with their mishandling.”

  “I have been a dog owner all my life and Wags to Whiskers is the best place I have brought my dogs to be groomed. We have a Wheaten Terrier and a Maltese-Poodle. We tell them, Do your thing and its always exciting to see the cool styles they come up with. The cuts are always different and they have excellent grooming skills. They are very nice people and the prices are extremely reasonable. We are going to really miss Wags to Whiskers when we move.”

  “Wags to Whiskers is the best place to trust your pet while on vacation. Their facilities are extremely clean and it is clear that they care for the animals greatly. There is even someone who lives on sight! The dogs go out every hour (which is excellent compared to the twice a day policy given my most vets), and you can even pick up or drop off your dogs on Sundays! I have been going to Wags for years and my dog wags his tail like crazy every time we pull up. Did I mention how personable the staff is? I don't know what I would do without them!!”
