  “This is a vet who is not only excellent as a veterinary professional, but who cares more about the animals than her bottom line. When my vet, Caroline Animal Hospital, said that my cat, who was in great pain, needed a biopsy but they couldn't schedule him for a week, and in the meantime couldn't give him a steroid shot to help with the mass in his mouth since it would throw off the biopsy (a 5 or 10 min procedure, btw), I called Dr Kensek, who was also fully booked. Not knowing me, and unlike my old vet who had treated my animals for several years, not knowing my cat, she said she would take care of him at the end of her already long day. She biopsied him (turned out benign) and gave him meds for pain and to help him begin healing right away, so I had the results before Caroline would have even started the procedure. She is my new vet for life.”

  “In late May, my friend and I found a kitten on the road(whom we later named Axel), seemingly suffering from an injury to his back legs. When took him in to Dr. Kensick, she gave him a dewormer, let us know what we would need to do in order to take care of him, and even discounted our visit because he was a rescue. We went back multiple times, and she was very helpful each visit. At the point where it became too difficult for us to take care of the kitten on our own, Kensick agreed to take him into the clinic and do her best to make him healthy again-FREE OF CHARGE! This was all three, four weeks ago. He has since recovered fully and has complete use of his legs. Whatever the clinic did, they're miracle workers. I would like to thank all of them, from the bottom of my heart, for what their perseverance did for Axel. I want to thank the vet tech who took him home on the weekends so he wouldn't be lonely. And I would like to, again, thank Dr. Kensick for having such a good heart.”

  “While travelling, our dog got acutely ill with diarrhea and vomiting. The vet and her staff came in at 10:00 on a Sat. night. Dr. Kensek knows her stuff and within two hours our dog was well enough to sleep through the night and travel the next day. At a time when we were very stressed Dr. Kensek's understanding of animals and her sense of humor eased our minds. Her staff is great, too!!”

  “The Vet is the most kindest, compassionate D.V.M in this area. Very knowledgeable, and is practical vet. What she does is in the best interest of the animal and I highly recommend her to anyone.”

  “I have had 2 of my babies at Lee Hill. I admit office is disorganized somewhat, my ex-family doctors office was worse. INCLUDING MIXING MY RECORDS UP WITH ANOTHER PATIENTS AND GIVING ME WRONG MEDS.
  Vet's bedside manner at times can leave alot to be desired. But she is there for MY babies, not me, she treats them with love, respect, genuine careing. She is informative to me, and if I am doing something harmful to my babies, she will tell me. She answers any questions.
  Recently we had to put our Lab down, Hannah hadn't been to her in years. The love and care she showed my baby during her last few minutes, I respect her for.
  I will continue using her services, she is awesome”

  “We took our yorkie to 3 vets before coming here and he was scared of all of them. But when we brought him to Lee's Hill, the vet wouldn't even do his check-up until he got comfortable with her. She played with him and even barked in his face. She isn't a people person, I agree, but she is a animal person! And she takes great care of my yorkie!!! As for record keeping, they have called us to remind us about his up coming shots, which is awesome to be reminded, since life is so hectic!”

  “I don't know about the people skills, never really noticed. I am interested in experienced, qualified veterinary care. I feel this is a good place for that. They take good care of my dogs and cats when I bring them in for all their shots.”

  “I LOVE the staff. They have been overly helpful and friendly. My parents did notice the poor people skills but I think it's great... she is ALL about the animals! They called me to see how my kitten was doing, since they missed having him boarded there!!”

  “Extremely disappointed. The vet actually told me she had poor people skills and I wasn't very impressed with her animal skills as well. The vet was rushed and the staff were rude. I'll be trying the new vet down the street for my other kitties!”

  “Friendly staff and good vet, but extremely slow at the front desk, disorganized, and very poor at recordkeeping.(Just one example: They weigh my dogs but don't always record the current weight in their records...Can't this make medication dosages incorrect?!?!)”
