“I am a local Property Manager who is recently a victim to a tenant who has tried desperately to slander me and my Company for evicting her for non-payment of rent. I know how difficult it is when someone accuses you of wrongdoing and although you know in your heart that you have done nothing wrong, the court of public opinion judges you unfairly.”

“I have been taking my very spoiled cocker spaniel to Olga since we moved here 6 years ago. I WOULD NOT TAKE HER ANYWHERE ELSE..Olga is a wonderful groomer, loves the babies that she grooms and treats them and their parents like members of her family.
I had tried a couple of places before I found Olga's and my baby hated going to get groomed, she LOVES it at Olga's.
I have and will continue to take my baby to Olga's and I have and will continue to recommend her to everyone.
For those that have posted their bad reviews on Olga and her business, first let me say you sound like a bunch of disgruntled ex-employees and secondly and this is my opinion and mine alone--you need to grow up, get off the computer and get a life and quit trying to ruin someone else's life. No one is perfect, the only perfect person was nailed to a cross. I am not a family member nor a current employee of Olga's but I feel like family thanks to her and if I had her talents and was looking for a job,I would work for her.
lIKE I SAID I HAVE TAKEN MY BABY TO HER FOR 6 YEARS AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO AND SHE LOVES IT THERE.”

“I had so much trouble finding a good groomer in the Wilmington area. I have a very old and sick dog who was shaved by another groomer and subsequently got hot spots. My dogs skin has never healed due to medication he is on. I was afraid to bring him anywhere but was recommended to bring him to Olga. He looked beautiful and she took such good care of him. I would highly recommend her to anyone, especially if the dog has special needs.”

“I was employed but olga and I must say as bad as you think it is, it's really even worse. Olga does have certain customers that she is nice to such as the airdale owner but soon as you leave she talks about you and not in a good way. I left oglas by just walking out one day which I have never done before on a job, I just could not take it anymore. The way she talks to her employees is simply horrific. We have had people actually pull us to the side and ask if we are ok, and if she always talks to us that way. Also to rhonda who owns the airdales, Olga does not do most of her work, she makes the employees do it then takes all the credit. I have seen olga kick dogs, beat them, throw them off her table, etc. These were dogs that were not the nicest dogs, but I feel that if you don't have the patience to groom a difficult dog without hitting them, then don't groom it, Let someone else that does have patience. Also as far as the cage free environment, I have seen dogs attacked for no reason by another dog, and then when the owner comes to pick up olga lies and make it seem like it was the dog who was attacked fault. From my observence, olga really needs help, I really think she is bi polor and needs meds but she absolutely refuses to go to a doctor about it, her behavior is not normal. Olga does have a nice side, but it is so buried by her mental issues, that you only see that nice side once in blue moon”

    Olga's leads to ER visit!

“I have been going to Olga's for 3 years, and if asked before now would have said I loved it. Although, after reading reviews, I shouldn't have been taking my beloved 6.5 lbs peekapoo there at all! About 2 months ago, I took my dog to get groomed and picked him up as always later that afternoon. I noticed he was not opening his eyes, but assumed he was tired from his long day. Later that night, I noticed white mucous coming out of both my dog's eyes and that they were red and swollen. He was not moving and winced whenever he was touched. At 2:00 AM I took my dog to the emergency after hours vet to get checked out. To my surprise, he had chemical burns in both eyes due to too much soap being put in his eyes during his wash at Olga's earlier that day. I also was informed that 3 other dogs had come in for the same problem earlier that evening, all from Olga's dog spa. $300 later I was finally home with my dog who was knocked out because of the pain medication they had given him at the vet. We visited the vet twice more that week because of both diarrhea and vomiting and a follow up visit. I spoke with Olga, where she assured me my money would be reimbursed and my next visit would be free. Now, more than 2 months later, I have yet to receive my money. I was also hung up on when I called to request the money from her. I will not be taking my dog back to Olga's ever again, and would advise anyone else to do the same.”

“I met a girl I have a class with and she gave me one of Olga's cards once she found out that I had a little yorkie. I usually take him to PetSmart to get groomed, but she insisted on Olga's Dog Spa, she absolutely loved taking her dog there. Well, it came time for my little 5.5 lb dog to get groomed, so I called up Olga's. I was told that they could not do it the same day I called so we scheduled for me to drop him off on Wed. (two days later... not a big deal). I was excited... I had heard good things about this place and all he or I have ever known is PetSmart because it is convenient to both where I live and work. I walked in to Olga's and she wanted to see my dog right away. She asked me if I had gotten him as a rescue and I nervously said no. (She was just so rude acting and looking, I was kind of scared of her) She held my dog in her arms while she pulled on his hair and started lecturing me about how I was a horrible parent and I should be ashamed of my dog's appearance (Now, let me just say, he was matted in about 3 places from where his hair has gotten long under his chest/belly area & between his shoulder blades where his harness sits...). She insisted that he needed to be shaved at once ans started all over! She kept going on and on and on about how horribly I treated my dog and she's never seen a case as bad as his! Well, I have NEVER been spoken to the way she spoke to me... EVER! I asked her for my dog back, told her that she was the rudest person that I had ever met, and that I could not believe that she talked to me the way she did. All she had to do was be nice and just groom my dog. I quickly exited the building with my dog in my arms and went straight to PetSmart (they took him without a problem! They said he was NOT THAT bad, he had a few matts, but with his long hair, it was expected. And he looks absolutely wonderful!). Needless to say, I will NEVER go back to Olga's as long as I have a pet! She needs to be shut down and she needs to find a new profession!

While she was sitting there raising her raspy, annoying sounding voice at me there was a dog who had just been dropped off running around the area behind the desk. She stopped yelling at me and just yelled, Can somebody do somethin' about this please? in a holier than thou attitude. I was like, 'wow, she could've been a whole lot nicer about that, but anyway...' Well, a girl came and got the dog and took him into the grooming room with her. The girl who worked for Olga came back out of the room, left the door cracked, and came and got her drink off of the counter top next to Olga. The dog in the room got out again and was running around and jumping for attention next to Olga. She turned around, stopped yelling at me once again, and yelled at that girl, I thought I told you to do something with that dog?! I need you to go in there (pointing to the room) and listen to everything I tell you to do today! The girl put down her drink, picked up the dog, and walked back into the room and shut the door.

I cannot believe #1) Olga treated me and talked to me (the owner of the dog who was going to be left in her care and supervision; the person who had never been there before; and the person who was going to PAY HER) the way that she did, #2) I cannot believe the way she treated her employees and the way she yelled at them in front of a new client while holding their dog, and #3) that she is in business!!

If she can talk and treat her employees inhumane, how in the world will she treat our beloved furry members of our family behind closed doors and while we're not there?

PS. Her mug shot makes her look a lot better than she does in person.”

    We love Olga's Dog Spa!!

“I've been taking my Airedales to olga's Spa for years and years. Olga is a very busy lady, but she has always treated us with kindness and respect. My 4 Airedales have all loved her and they prance in willingly. I love that Olga has a no cage policy so our girls get to roam around freely while waiting to be groomed. There are several layers of 'doggy security' so there is NO way the dogs can get out. Olga also has a fully fenced yard where the dogs can run freely when they need a break. I have always been greeted by an individual with a notebook in hand and I've always been asked for my most recent contact information even though I've been going there for years.
I think the 'negative' comments from others below must have caught Olga on a rare day because I have never experienced a bad attitude at her Doggy Spa.

Olga loves her dogs and she regularly helps out with old, rescued, and difficult dogs. She has a heart of gold for her animals.

Olga also does the absolute best grooming job on my airedales!!”

I too have taken my dog to Olga's

“For quite a few years I have taken my dog to Olga's. I never really had any problems with her until recently. I too had told her a specific cut to do and when I picked my dog up it wasnt what I asked. I was told that it's not a person and she does the best she can.

When I told Olga about my concerns, I too endured the Wrath of Olga.

I do pray that her customer service skills improve as I would hate to see anyone lose their business over something that is in their control.”

Olga needs a lesson in customer service!!!

“I have taken my standard poodle into Olga's for several full-service groomings. The groom was OK at best, but what stood out to me was the LACK of customer service. To start with, they never took my name or phone number when I made my first appointment. I had to ask them to take down my information once I dropped her off so they could call me when she was ready. God forbid there be an emergency... or they give my dog to someone else! (I wouldn't be surprised since they didn't know her owners name) After a few more appointments I finally decided to take her elsewhere for her grooming. Well, recently my boyfriend called Olga to make an appointment (it is within walking distance from our house). She not only chewed him out for expecting an appointment that very week he called (shudder), but she also decided to lecture him on the artistry of a poodle's clip and how to care for our dog's coat, condescendingly I might add. When he finally got her there he told Olga (keep in mind he's no expert) to do whatever she's suppose to do. Now, here's where I have the problem. I have spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars to get her cut just right, and grow her poms out. Her cut was set, all Olga had to do was bathe and clip (following the precut design). Well she had the AUDACITY to tell him that guys shouldn't have a poodle with poms, and took it upon herself to make the decision to CUT THEM DOWN! (without consulting either of us) Now, I'm not an unreasonable person, I do not want them excessively fluffy, just defined poofs, however this is NOT HER DECISION TO MAKE. Needless to say, she will not be returning to Olga's. Her service is OK, not great, but her customer relations are horrendous. If you do choose to take your dog there, be sure to be VERY clear about your expectations, and watch out for The Wrath of Olga!”
